Susan has recently completed her Diploma in Counselling. She is currently employed by the Drugs Action Team (Liverpool). Her work with this organisation and previous secondment work brought her into contact with the Choice for Life programme at Walton Prison. This sparked her interest in doing her counselling placement within a prison. The current working paper is a result of the research she carried out while on placement.
